Summary

This analysis considers what impact, if any, latitude has on weather.

Methods. Leveraged the OpenWeatherMap API to access weather data for cities (n=569) randomly selected based on latitude and longitude.

Findings. The analysis revealed that unlike other the weather measures (humidity (%), cloudiness (%) and wind speed (mph)), there is a relationship between city latitude and maximum temperature (°F).
