Relationships Between Health Risks and Age, Income

Financial Health

Smoking, obesity and lack of coverage are higher in states with lower median incomes. Similarly, rates are higher in states with more residents living in poverty.

Smoking Aging Out

Older States tend to have higher rates of smoking.

Age and Access

Younger States tend to have higher proportions of residents without healthcare insurance.
